Darling, Get out of Your Own Way!

 A few weeks ago, I had a massive, kick me in the ass week. Where the messages were coming thick and fast, where one thing in particular kept coming up;

GET OUT OF YOUR OWN DAMN WAY!

First it was in the way of a beautiful intuitive reading from Lauren at Inner Hue (don’t know who I am talking about? You need to check her out!). There was so much goodness jam packed into our 90 minute session, we covered my colours, chakras and general life stuff. There were so many ah ha moments, so many things that Lauren brought up that I had been contemplating in the last week or two. The key one being: You are the only one standing in the way.

Wow.

She was right, I totally am.

Now, being one to procrastinate, I didn’t jump straight onto this…(Yes, I love to dawdle) I certainly heard it, but wasn’t quite ready to move on it, not just yet. Now let’s jump to later the same week and the same beautiful message found it’s way to me from another wise brunette beauty, Melissa Ambrosini.

Love the synchronicity, and yes universe, I am listening.

How often do we put obstacles in the way to our happiness? To the growth of our business, a change in our relationship status, to being able to move forward in any way, shape or form? How often do these self imposed boundaries mean, rather than shining our light we limit ourselves to the darkness. My guess is pretty often!

So I decided to make a conscious effort to make a little side step, and what has happened since then? A hell of a lot; there is of course still a long way to go, but until then, at least I am out of my own damn way!

Where are you standing in the way of your own happiness or success? I would love to hear from you in the comments below.

Much love, em x

    Perfect timing for me to read this today.
    Absolutely I am standing in my own way too.
    Working on ways to sidestep gracefully 😉

    Good luck with your side stepping xx
